That’s why the name of the lake is Hatirjheel. Hatirjheel is located at the centre of the Dhaka city and the place started from Banasree in the north to Sonargaon Hotel in the south. The area is surrounded by Gulshan, Tejgaon, Badda, Banasree, Rampura, Maghbazar and Niketon. This project of the lake made the transportation much easier for the people living near it.
